Storage and handling of bioproducts
This activity covers the necessary steps to prepare bioproducts for shipment. Learners will learn to verify deliveries, inspect boxes for compliance, and store products in appropriate temperature zones. Managing rejected products and securely storing them is also addressed.
This activity emphasizes the safety of people and bioproducts during handling. Learners will explore different storage environments, the importance of using personal protective equipment, and methods to ensure bioproducts are stored under optimal conditions. The ability to react quickly to urgent product needs is also taught.
This immersive activity is based on a case study involving the inspection of a warehouse: identifying temperature deviations during deliveries, managing and repositioning rejected products. It also includes checking security systems and correcting errors in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
